Easter Bunny Version 1 and Cupcakes

This cake and cupcakes were made for Evan's 1st Adoption day

which was also Easter day, April 15, 2006.

Evan's little fingers left a print where he tried to pull off an ear. :-) The Bunny's fur was coconut covering strawberry icing. He also had a cute cotton tail made from 3 large marshmallows.

Barn Yard Cake and Cow Cupcakes

This was Evan's first cake and the first that I ever made. It was made for

his second birthday, just a month after we brought him home. It was such a

special time and it certainly called for a special celebration.

How I got started...

I had always enjoyed making cakes for Evan and I had been praying about a way to make a little extra money. I felt so blessed to be at home but just wanted a way to contribute a little bit of money to my family. Then one day, I talked to a friend of mine and she told me that I should start selling cakes...the rest is history and I still enjoy it. I enjoy taking the time while I'm working on the cake to pray for whomever I am making it for.

And just for the record...all cakes are homemade with

homemade Buttercream Frosting!! The Best!!
